How WORTHOO makes money

WORTHOO is free to use. When you click through to a marketplace and buy something, the marketplace may pay us a small commission from its own margin. Your price is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone there directly.

We do not run display advertising, we do not add a checkout or service fee to your purchase, and there is no subscription. Merchant-funded affiliate commission is our only revenue at launch.

We do not currently offer cashback or rewards, and nothing on WORTHOO should be read as a promise of one. If we ever introduce a cashback or paid tier, it will be announced clearly and separately from this page.

Commission does not buy placement

Ranking, the WORTHOO Score and the Pick 1, Kill 1 comparison are computed from listing data only — price, shipping, condition, seller feedback and delivery estimates. Commission rate is not an input to any of them, and no merchant can pay to be featured, boosted or protected from a bad score. Our commission records are stored in a separate part of the system from the data our ranking reads.

How the buy button works

The buy button points at the best real offer we hold for that item, chosen on landed price (item plus shipping), delivery estimate and availability. We show the merchant and the reason it was picked. Clicking it sends you to the merchant through a tracked link so the commission can be attributed to us.

Where the data comes from

Every price, shipping cost and seller detail on WORTHOO comes from a live marketplace API and is shown with the time we retrieved it. Prices move; always confirm the final figure on the merchant's own page before paying. We do not generate, estimate or simulate prices, ratings, availability or savings claims. Anything a marketplace did not tell us is shown as "not stated" rather than filled in.

What we track when you click out

We record the marketplace, item and offer identifiers, the merchant, the price and shipping at the moment you clicked, the part of the site you clicked from, a random session identifier and a timestamp, so commission reports can be reconciled against real clicks. See the privacy policy for detail.
